Campus Ambassadors
Each year, each of the accounting designations selects a student(s) to represent them on campus and act as and advocacy group for them to promote the designation and answer students questions. If you have a specific question about any of the designations please contact the related ambassador below:
Certified Management Accountants (CMA)
My name is Allison Miceli and I am entering my 3rd year in the Honours Commerce program with a stream in Accounting and Human Resources. This year you will see me on campus representing CMA Ontario as their University Ambassador and again with DAA as the 3rd Year Executive. I value getting to know my fellow students and helping to convey information to them that will assist them in reaching their goals at DeGroote. I am very excited to be representing CMA on campus this year and I hope to provide information and awareness to students about the designation and introduce it to those who had not considered it. Please feel free to contact me at any time with your questions andcomments. I hope to see you all on campus in the fall and at our events in the coming school year!

Tausif Hussain (Sr. Board of Associates Rep)
Hi my name is Tausif Hussain. I am very passionate about the CA field and am enthusiastic towards developing my leadership/teamwork skills. I have worked as a junior staff accountant at FSPC accounting and am also currently assistant manager at EzeSold, which is a subsidiary of Remax. I am the senior ICAO student representative for McMaster and the CA Ambassador for the DeGroote Accounting Association. Something unique about me is that I have memorized over 700 pages of a foreign script. I love traveling, sports, movies/TV, and hanging out with friends. I also drive a black/red sports bike, so if you see me around campus on my Ninja, please feel free to talk to me! I’m outgoing, friendly, and easy to get along with!

Marleigh White (Jr. Board of Associates Rep)
After spending high school years devoted to extra-curricular activities and academics, Marleigh graduated from Hamilton’s Bishop Ryan Catholic School and is a currently a second year commerce student at McMaster University. Marleigh was born and raised in Hamilton and is proud to be attending the University in her own backyard. Intrigued by high school accounting classes, Marleigh finds herself in pursuit of the CA designation. In addition to her academic interests, Marleigh has spent the past summer successfully running and growing a franchised business with College Pro. Her interests and hobbies include competitive dance, baseball, cycling and her newly found passion for kickboxing tournaments. Around campus you can find Marleigh on the executive team for DeGroote Impact, as well as participating in the annual Global Citizen Conference, Green Suits and Health Science Fashion Show. Although she lives off campus, Marleigh is always available to answer questions or help you get involved.
