Do you want to distinguish yourself from other members?
The DAA has approximately 250 student members - each boasting their membership to the DAA on their resume. Recruiters can’t tell which members are active and dedicated to our association and which members aren’t…. until now!
To make your resume stand out this year, the DAA thas launched their brand new ”Participating Member” program. In order to become a “Participating Member” of the DAA you must attend/volunteer for at least 5 of our events throughout the academic year.
So how will the DAA know if I’ve attended at least 5 events you may ask? Simply sign up to become a member of the DAA and you will receive your membership card. Bring this card to each event and a member of the DAA executive with stamp/sign the back after each session. Once you have attended your 5 events (but you don’t have to stop here) contact the DAA to arrange to pick up your “Participating Member” certificate and a special prize.
By becoming a “Participating Member”, recruiters will know that you not only attended accounting events, but that you are truly interested in learning more about the profession.
