About FPC

What is FPC?

The Fast Pace to the Case (FPC) Competition is a one day event that is open to all undergraduate students from universities across Ontario. Each university’s accounting association will be responsible for selecting the best representatives from their school and is welcome to send up to three teams of four. In addition to the valuable case writing experience the day will provide, students will also be competing for exciting prizes. The first place prize this year is $4,000, the largest cash prize awarded in the GTA.

What are the benefits of attending FPC?

FPC offers three great benefits in addition to the exciting prizes. Primarily, FPC challenges you to apply your theoretical accounting knowledge to real-world cases similar to those featured in professional accounting exams. Secondly, it provides the opportunity to hone the speaking and presentation skills that are highly valued by employers. Finally, it gives you the chance to network and build rapport with students and industry professionals from Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, PricewaterhouseCoopers, CMA, CGA, and the ICAO. Combined, these three aspects make FPC a truly enriching learning experience that will prepare you well for the world of accounting and business.
